Recycled polyethylene (rPE)
Recycled HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE come from post-consumer (PCR) and post-industrial (PIR) sources. They are supplied as pellets, agglomerate, regrind or washed flake. Quality is defined by agreed parameters, not by a resin-producer grade.

Applications
- Drainage, cable-protection and non-pressure pipe
- Refuse sacks and non-food film
- Crates, pallets and moulded goods
- Blending with virgin resin to raise recycled content
How the grade is selected
- PCR or PIR, and which collection stream
- Form: pellets, agglomerate, regrind or flake
- Melt flow index and density for your process
- Colour, moisture and contamination limits
Documents with an offer
- TDSTechnical data sheet for the offered grade, when available
- SDSSafety data sheet applicable to the supplied product
- COACertificate of analysis or relevant lot documentation, when supplied
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between PCR and PIR?
Post-consumer recycled (PCR) material comes from products used and discarded by consumers. Post-industrial recycled (PIR) material comes from production scrap that never reached a consumer. PIR is usually cleaner and more uniform.
Can recycled PE replace virgin resin?
For many non-pressure and non-food uses, yes, fully or in a blend. Pressure pipe and food packaging normally need virgin or specially approved material.
How do you describe recycled quality in an offer?
The offer states the form, source and the parameters agreed with the supplier, such as melt flow, density, moisture and contamination. A sample can be discussed before a first order.
